The Transformation
Artisan Espace Design designed this bathroom around a stark and fully intentional contrast: the large-format matte beige porcelain covers the walls and floor with a soft texture and luminous warmth, while the black ceramic subway tiles create sharp, graphic lines in the accent areas.
This interplay between light and dark, between the matte surface and the texture of the subway tiles, creates a visual tension that captures the eye without ever straining it. The fixtures and hardware were chosen to complement this duality: understated finishes that let the materials take center stage.
The installation of the subway tiles, with their classic staggered brick pattern, was carried out meticulously by our team to ensure the grout lines remain perfectly uniform.
The Result
As soon as you step into this bathroom in Longueuil, you immediately understand the design concept. The contrast between the matte beige and the graphic black creates a high-end, memorable space that transcends trends to embody a certain vision of contemporary chic.
