The Renovation
Artisan Espace Design supplied and installed the Armani 24×48-inch porcelain tile throughout the entire ground floor of this new home. This large-format tile gives the spaces a remarkable sense of visual spaciousness: the narrow grout lines and the uniformity of the tiles create a continuous, almost fluid surface that makes each room appear larger.
The texture of the Armani porcelain—slightly textured, with subtle shades of gray and cream—evokes natural stone without the maintenance requirements.
Installing the tiles throughout the entire ground floor required our craftsmen to meticulously plan the layout so that the tiles would align properly at the transitions between rooms and integrate seamlessly with the door thresholds.
The Result
From the main entrance to the back of the kitchen, this ground floor in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu exudes an immediately noticeable sense of serenity and unity. The Armani porcelain tile created exactly the signature look the homeowners wanted for their new home.
