The Transformation
Artisan Espace Design built this composition around the combination of Bastya Noir quartz and Lincoln porcelain. Bastya Noir quartz, used for the countertop, features a deep, almost anthracite base with subtle highlights that give it an unexpected luminous quality.
Lincoln porcelain, on the other hand, brings clarity and contrast: its lighter shade and slightly textured surface balance the depth of the black. These two materials have been highlighted on the countertops, backsplash, and an accent wall, creating surfaces that complement each other from one end of the kitchen to the other.
The alternation between dark and light tones creates a visual dynamic that makes the space feel larger rather than heavier.
The Result
This kitchen in Candiac proves that you can boldly embrace black without sacrificing brightness. The Bastya and Lincoln complement each other with rare precision, giving the room a strong identity and a remarkable visual presence.
