- About Us
Flooring expertise that has expanded—without ever losing its essence
L'Artisan Espace Design started with a very simple idea: when you’re renovating a house, you don’t want to deal with five different contractors. You want one trusted person, one vision, and a cohesive result from floor to countertop.
The founder comes from a long line of master sanders. His father before him—and he himself for over a decade—have restored hundreds of hardwood floors on the South Shore—in Brossard, Longueuil, Saint-Lambert, and La Prairie. This expertise in flooring has allowed us to develop a keen eye for detail, to understand how materials behave, and to maintain high quality standards until we achieve a flawless finish.
Today, we apply this same rigor to every project we undertake, from custom cabinets to quartz and granite countertops, including high-end plumbing. Same high standards. Same craftsmen. Same commitment to you.
Renovating a bathroom or completely remodeling your kitchen means making dozens of decisions. At L’Artisan Espace Design, we wanted to simplify your life: our collections of high-end plumbing fixtures are an integral part of our kitchen and bathroom offerings, so you can shop for everything in a single visit.
No more running back and forth between suppliers. Whether you’re looking for a brushed gold waterfall faucet for a contemporary bathroom in Brossard, a freestanding bathtub for a high-end condo in Longueuil, or a sleek one-piece toilet for a complete renovation in Saint-Lambert—you’ll find a cohesive selection here, rigorously chosen for its quality and aesthetics.
Our approach: fewer compromises, more consistency. From the initial design to the installation of the last accessory.

- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We'll answer your questions
Are you a genuine local business or a franchise?
L'Artisan Espace Design is a local business, founded and operated on Montreal’s South Shore. No franchises, no subcontractors you’ve never met: you work directly with our team of craftsmen. We know the region well, the homes here, and the unique challenges of each project. We’ve built our reputation one satisfied customer at a time.
What are your typical turnaround times and guarantees?
It depends on the project. Sanding a floor can be done in a few days, but a complete kitchen renovation takes a few weeks. No matter the project, we’ll give you a clear timeline right from the quote—and we’ll stick to it. All our work is guaranteed: certified materials, guaranteed workmanship, and if something goes wrong, we’ll fix it without charging you a penny more.
Do you also do floors and stairs, in addition to cabinets and countertops?
Yes, and that’s actually where it all began. Hardwood flooring, dust-free sanding, oil or varnish finishes, repairs, and sanding stairs and handrails—it’s been part of the company’s DNA from the very beginning. For staircase and epoxy concrete projects in particular, our team at L’Artisan du Plancher handles them directly. Same crew, same quality standards.
Do you serve the entire South Shore of Montreal?
Absolutely. We serve Brossard, Longueuil, Saint-Lambert, La Prairie, Candiac, Sainte-Catherine, Greenfield Park, and the surrounding municipalities. We’ll come to your home to take measurements at no additional cost within our primary service area.
Can I have my kitchen and bathroom renovated at the same time?
Yes, and that's often the best way to ensure that the materials and finishes all come together seamlessly. Our craftsmen coordinate the various tasks—flooring, cabinets, countertops, plumbing—to minimize disruptions and deliver a harmonious result from start to finish.
How does the first meeting work?
It’s a no-pressure, no-obligation conversation. You can visit us at our showroom in Brossard, or we can come to your home—we’ll discuss your project, take a look at the space, and the designer will provide you with a clear and detailed quote. No consultation fees, and no pushy salespeople.
